Physical Education (PE)

Physical Education aims at developing students’ knowledge, skills and understanding so that they can perform with increasing competence and confidence in a range of physical activities.  These include dance, games, ball skills, gymnastic skills, perceptual motor program, swimming and water safety as well as outdoor activities.  Physical education promotes students’ understanding of their bodies in action.  It involves thinking, selecting and applying skills and promotes positive attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle.  We offer opportunities for them to make informed choices about physical activity which we hope will continue throughout their lives.
