Volunteering at JCSRS

Occupational Therapist (Paediatric)

An experienced Occupational Therapist is required to join a dedicated and supportive team of teachers and therapists who work collaboratively to empower students reach their full potential.  The post involves working with young people with complex sensory and behavioral difficulties through direct intervention, in-class support, consultation and training.  Our ideal candidate will have experience of young people with autism and sensory processing disorder, experiences in vocational training for post-14 students and be interested in service development.

The successful candidates must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Have a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of recent developments in Occupational Therapy research and practice
  • Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be registered with the Supplementary Medical Professions Council of Hong Kong (Part 1 of Register)

Note –
Applicant with less than 2 years of working experience may be considered, however the employment package will be subject to negotiation in these circumstances

Supply Educational Assistants


Our School is recruiting Supply Educational Assistants who will be called on to cover in the event of staff absence . Main duties of the Educational Assistant in our school includes working in class to support students’ programmes and prepare teaching resources; also to work with students with severe and multiple learning difficulties.


– A degree or alternate appropriate qualifications
– Good standard of spoken English
– Experience in special educational needs is preferred
– Using inclusive technologies

Jobs can vary from working with students under the supervision of the teacher or therapist to assisting with resource management such as administrative jobs in our library. We are interested in hearing about your strengths and interests and matching these with our school needs.
